Every three years the Netherlands hosts the 'Nijmegen' Astroparticle Physics Summer School for PhD students and postdocs. Topics include: Cosmology, Cosmic Microwave Background, Gravitational Waves, Neutrinos, Ultra-High Energy Cosmic Rays, Dark Matter, and Dark Energy. Lectures are given in the morning while the afternoons are reserved for a special training project aimed at acquiring skills in presenting, defending and reviewing modern research proposals in astroparticle physics.
The next school will take place from July 25-August 3 2012, at Schloss Gnadenthal, just across the German border from Nijmegen. The school website is not yet officially live, but you can get a first look at the line-up of lecturers (which is excellent!). Please consider sending your PhD students along to this!
